Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Palladium Recycling (Pty) Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. About Our Company

Palladium Recycling (Pty) Ltd provides precious metal recycling, recovery, refining, and related services. Our business activities may include the processing of precious metal-bearing materials and the supply of precious metal products, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

2. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to its systems, submit misleading information, or engage in activities that could disrupt its operation.

All information provided on this website is for general informational purposes and may be updated without prior notice.

3. Products and Services

We aim to ensure that information about our precious metal products, recycling services, refining capabilities, and other offerings is accurate and up to date.

Product availability, specifications, prices, processing times, and service conditions may change. Any specific terms agreed upon in a written quotation, purchase agreement, or service contract will apply to the relevant transaction.

4. Pricing and Payments

Prices may vary according to precious metal market conditions, metal content, purity, weight, processing requirements, and other applicable factors.

Payment terms, accepted payment methods, deposits, and settlement arrangements will be communicated before a transaction is finalised. Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information.

Where applicable, transactions are subject to identity verification, anti-money-laundering requirements, and other relevant legal obligations.

4.1. Where to find the price for the product. The price of the product will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct. However please see clause 11.3 for what happens if we discover an error in the price of the product you order.

4.2. We will pass on changes in the rate of VAT. If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the product, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the product in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

4.3. What happens if we got the price wrong. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.

4.4. When you must pay and how you must pay. We accept payment with Bank transfers and VISA and MasterCard Debit and Credit cards. You must pay for the products within one hour of placing an order. We will not dispatch goods until we have received the payment.

4.5. What to do if you think an invoice is wrong. If you think an invoice is wrong please contact us promptly to let us know using the details set out in clause 2.2.

4.6. Our right of set-off if you are a business customer. If you are a business customer you must pay all amounts due to us under these terms in full without any set-off, counterclaim, deduction or withholding (other than any deduction or withholding of tax as required by law).

5. Precious Metal Recycling and Refining

Customers submitting precious metal-bearing materials for analysis, recovery, or refining must provide accurate information about the materials and disclose any known hazards or special handling requirements.

Sampling, analysis, recovery yields, and settlement calculations may depend on the material's composition, condition, weight, and processing requirements. Any agreed procedures, fees, settlement methods, and expected timelines should be confirmed in writing before processing begins.

Customers must have the legal right and authority to sell, transfer, or submit the materials they provide.

6. Orders, Quotations, and Cancellations

Quotations, orders, and service bookings are subject to the terms communicated at the time of the transaction.

An order may be amended or cancelled only in accordance with the applicable agreement and any relevant legal requirements. Specially ordered products, completed processing work, and materials already committed to refining may be subject to specific cancellation or refund conditions disclosed before the transaction.

7. Product Information and Precious Metal Prices

Precious metal prices can fluctuate significantly in response to market conditions. Website prices, where displayed, may not reflect the final transaction price unless expressly confirmed.

Customers should verify product specifications, weight, purity, availability, delivery arrangements, and the final price before completing a purchase.

8. Delivery and Collection

Delivery, collection, packaging, insurance, and transport arrangements will be agreed upon before dispatch or collection.

Customers must provide accurate delivery details and comply with any applicable identification or collection requirements. Responsibility for loss or damage will be determined by the agreed transaction terms and applicable law.

9. Compliance and Customer Responsibilities

All transactions are subject to applicable South African laws and regulations, including relevant precious metals, consumer protection, tax, and financial compliance requirements.

We may request reasonable documentation to verify a customer's identity, the source or ownership of submitted materials, or the legitimacy of a transaction where legally required.

We reserve the right to decline or suspend a transaction where permitted by law if required documentation is missing or compliance concerns arise.
